We made a week long trek into the Golden Trout Wilderness with our goal to reach the top of Mt. Whitney the highest peak in the Continental United States. Most will attempt a one day blitz or even a 2 or 3 day hike to the top. We left "man-made" behind and forgot it all for a week long adventure.
